Endorsement for the Mauritian Parliamentary Elections

Tomorrow 5 May, Juche 99, the Republic of Mauritius will hold its parliamentary elections. In these elections I will be endorsing the Mauritian Socialist Movement (MSM) of current president, Sir Anerood Jugnauth. I will be endorsing them because I support their Democratic Socialist platform. I am not endorsing the Mauritian Labour Party because I believe they are heading on a neoliberal course, similar to that of the British Labour Party. I strongly oppose the Third Way position of New Labour, which is one of the many reasons as to why I am not endorsing Labour in Thursday's general elections. I am also not endorsing the Mauritian Militant Movement, which typically receives the majority of the Caucasian vote in Mauritius. I am not endorsing the MMM because they are similar to the Nordic Green-Left Parties in Europe. I do not like their emphasis on personal freedoms and the environment.
