Endorsement for the Austrian Presidential Election

On Sunday 25 April, Juche 99, the Republic of Austria will be holding its presidential elections. In these elections I will be endorsing current incumbent president, Dr. Heinz Fischer. I am endorsing Fischer mainly because he supported former chancellor, Bruno Kreisky against nazi hunter Simon Weisenthal. Although I do agree that the holocaust did occur and that Hitler's regime was responsible for it, at this point in time, even at the time when Kreisky was chancellor, its time to get over it. The Jews have their own state in the Middle East and the major players in the holocaust have been captured and punished, not that I necessarily agree with the fact that they were punished to begin with. Fischer has a record of bipartisanship even acknowledging the influence of Jorg Haider's Alliance for the Future of Austria party.
