Palm Sunday

Today Christians around the world, with the exception of the Orthodox Churches, celebrate the holiday of Palm Sunday. This holiday acknowledges the journey of the prophet Jesus of Nazareth into the Holy city of Jerusalem. This holiday also acknowledges the truth behind the Christian religion, which is, Jesus committed treason. Jesus of Nazareth entered the city of Jerusalem with crowds greeting him as king of Judea. Although Jesus of Nazareth never fully acknowledged that he was king of Judea and/or the Jews, he never denied it either. This move is what got Jesus into trouble. Jesus of Nazareth committed treason against the mighty empire of Rome. By never denying that he was king of the Jews, who were subjects of the Roman Empire, Jesus blatantly committed treason. I say that the crucifixion of Jesus, was just and he got what was coming to him. He was nothing more than a common criminal and deserved to be executed. SPQR. Long Live the Roman Empire!
