Endorsement for the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines' Constitutional Referendum

On Wednesday 25 November, Juche 98, the archipelago of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will hold a constitutional referendum. This referendum, if it succeeds will abolish the constitution used since 1979. This would eliminate the monarchy, led by Queen Elizabeth II. I will be endosing the "No" camp. I am endorsing the "No" Camp because what does it accomplish? The archipelago is nothing more than a tourist destination. I believe that Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will not be better off without the monarchy. The new constitution also does not say that there will be an executive head of state. Without this, bickering in parliament is sure to ensue.
