Endorsement for the Slovak Parlaimentary Elections

On Saturday 11 June, Juche 99, the Slovak Republic will be holding its parliamentary elections. In these elections, I will be endorsing the Communist Party of Slovakia. I am endorsing the Communist Party for several reasons. The first reason is because the Communist Party of Slovakia are supporters in the current coalition led by Prime Minister Robert Fico and his party, Direction-Social Democracy. The current coalition, I think is one of the most interesting coalitions in Europe. The current coalition consists mainly of the socialist, Direction-Social Democracy party, and the right-wing populist Slovak National Party, led by Jan Slota. The Party Direction-Social Democracy got expelled from the Party of European Socialists about two years ago for forming this coalition.
I do hope this coalition will win the upcoming elections this Saturday. I enjoy the nationalist and socialist tones the coalition has promoted. I think the nationalist tones will bide well with the voters on Saturday since neighbouring Hungary just voted for parties with nationalist platforms. Slota has even threatened, while intoxicated, to lead tanks into Budapest to regain natural Slovak lands.
Another reason as to why I am supporting the Communist Party of Slovakia is that they have maintained their Marxist-Leninist roots. I think that Czechoslovakia greatly benefited during the rule of Klement Gottwald, Antonin Novotny and Gustav Husak and Slovakia should maintain that course. Although I doubt that the Communist Party of Slovakia will win any seats, I do hope the current coalition stays in power, and I will continue my support.
