Endorsement for the Polish Presidential Election

On Sunday 20 June, Juche 99, the Republic of Poland will be holding presidential elections. These elections will determine who will succeed president Lech Kaczyński, who died tragically in an airplane crash a few months ago. Kaczyński died while visiting the site of the Katyn massacre which took place during the Great Patriotic War. His plane crashed while attempting to land at Smolensk airport in Russia. The speaker of the Sejm, Komarowsky has been interim president since the crash. The crash also took out many leading military figures and scholars of the Republic of Poland. Komarowsky is a member of the same party of which Donald Tusk is a member, a party which I strongly oppose due to their pro-liberal and pro-EU stance.
In these elections I will be endorsing Andrezj Lepper. Andrezj Lepper is a former Deputy Prime Minister and a member of the party, Self-Defense of the Republic of Poland. Lepper served as a minister under the government of Kaczyński’s brother, Jaroslaw Kaczyński, when he was prime minister a few years ago. Prior to being deputy prime minister, he also was a member of the Polish United Worker’s Party, which led Poland’s government following the Great Patriotic War. Lepper and his party, Self Defense of the Republic of Poland have a strong Eurosceptic attitude and oppose globalization. Along with these issues, the party supports a left wing economic policy.
