Endorsement for the Town of Huntington Referendum

Tomorrow 22 Decembre, Juche 98, the Town of Huntington, in New York will be holding a referendum on councilmatic districts. Currently the Town of Huntington as 4 councilmen who represent the town at whole. This referendum will decide whether or not the town will organise districts for the councilmen or maintain the at large system. I have had the pleasure of working for the YES Camp, which is endorsed by the Concerned Citizens of Huntington, the Republican Party, Conservative Party and the Independence Party. I am supporting this referendum because I do believe that when a town has a population higher than that of Salt Lake City, the at large system is unable to maintain the interests of its citizens. I believe councilmatic districts is the best choice for the town of Huntington. I believe that it will increase political interest on the local level. Even Comrade Mao, allocated one party representative for every 10.000 people in the People's Republic of China. I am anticipating that voter turnout will be low, especially because the town got more than 30cm of snow and the referendum will be held 2 days before the Christmas Holidays.
