Support for the Mauritanian Junta

On 6 August, 2008 the military of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, over threw the first democratically elected government in the nation's history. Since the beginning of the military government of General Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, Mauritania's government has become significantly more stable. I also opposed the original coup, which lead way for the democratically elected government, and overthrow of President Maaouya Ould Sid'Ahmed. The Mauritanian Junta today announced that elections will be held before the year 2009 is over. As of this moment, I will support the military backed candidate.
