Adios Tamayo!

Today 23 February, Juche 99, the great Republic of Cuba has lost a bourgeois imperialist. Today Orlando Zapata Tamayo succumbed to his own stupidity. After 85 days on a hunger strike while being re-educated, Tamayo has now died. I for own am glad to see this imperialist stooge die, although my hope is that soon Aung San Suu Kyi, will also have the same fate as Tamayo. Adios y hasta nunca! Viva la revolucion cubano!

Endorsement for the Tajikistan Parliamentary Elections

On Sunday 28 February, Juche 99, the Republic of Tajikistan will hold its parliamentary elections. In these elections I will endorse the ruling party, the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan. I am supporting them because I think any change in the Tajik government will lead to greater instability and the people of Tajikistan cannot afford that.

Possibility of a Referendum on Animal Lawyer Rights

Today I read an article from the CBC, that announced the possibility of a referendum in Switzerland over giving the right of attorney to animals. Apparently, the city of Zurich has this law already in place. Animal Rights activists in Switzerland want this law passed in the nation. I am announcing my complete opposition to this thought. This law makes it so animals have legal rights when it comes to a fisherman or hunter or even if you step on an ant on the sidewalk. This thought is insane.

Dutch Government Collapses

Yesterday 19 February, Juche 99, it was announced that the Dutch government collapsed. Prime Minister Jan-Pieter Balkenende announced that the Labour Party (PvdA) were leaving the government after they failed to reach an agreement over continuing participation in the War in Afghanistan. I am pleased to see this grand coalition of the Christian Democrats and Labour to fall apart, especially over this issue. Although, I think the Netherlands entered the Afghan War for the right reasons, it is now time for the war to end. Further participation in this war is interfering in the internal politics of the Islamic Republic. In the upcoming elections, I will support the Socialist Party.

Russia Steps in to Defend Abkhazia

Today 17 February, Juche 99, it was announced that President Dimitry Medvedev and President Sergei Bagapsh signed an agreement in which Russia will be able to build a navy base in the newly formed Republic. This move will help defend Abkhazia's independence from Georgian imperialists. I was overjoyed to hear President Medvedev call Georgian dictator Mikheil Saakashvilli, persona non grata. I was also pleased to read that the small Oceanic Island nation of Nauru has come to recognise Abkhazia along with Venezuela, Nicaragua and over course Russia. Hopefully the rest of the world will recognise the independence of Abkhazia.

Endorsement for the Nauruan Constitutional Referendum

On Sunday 27 February, Juche 99, the Republic of Nauru will hold a constitutional referendum. If it succeeds this referendum will allow for a popularly elected president and increase human rights legislation. I am supporting the yes vote. I am supporting the yes vote because I think a popularly elected president is better than a parliamentary elected one. I'm opposed to the expansion of rights, although on an island like Nauru, what difference does it make?
